What Twisted Automotive vehicles will I see at Goodwood Revival?
This turbocharged little Twisted has been driven by the press all summer (look out for the reviews this weekend).
It’s the first time in Twisted’s history that it’s carried out full conversions to a vehicle other than the classic Land Rover Defender.
The much-loved Suzuki Jimny is a pure, proper little offroader. It’s evocative, engaging, and endearing. It’s almost a miniature Defender with similar architecture, driveline and analogue feel. All this makes it the perfect vehicle for Twisted to improve and add magic.
Twisted Original 90 TTD Station Wagon 2.2
Brimming with performance enhancements yet retaining the essence of classic Defender, this 90 hardtop carries the official Twisted build plaques.
Its powertrain is the TTD, what Twisted calls its upgraded TDCi 2.2. It takes the 122hp of the standard TDCi and increases it to a useful 174hp with over 400nm of torque. Once converted with Twisted’s bespoke components, it’s more exciting, fluid and flexible. You can always overtake with confidence. The 2.2 TTD engine features a tailored ECU upgrade, performance air filter and Twisted stainless steel exhaust system.
Twisted Original 110 TVS Soft Top
It’s the second year this Defender 110 has attended Goodwood Revival. Last year, it graced the Twisted stand as a work-in-progress build. This year, it’s complete and glorious.
With super cool 70’s beach cruiser vibes but hiding a powerful petrol engine and modern infotainment, this is a Defender like no other. Having been handcrafted with over 720 build hours, every detail has been carefully considered and reworked. Currently boasting two seats but with scope for up to eight, it is the perfect Defender to throw the surfboards and picnic in, and celebrate the best of British.
Twisted Original 90 TD5 Soft Top
Originally hand-built by the men and women of Solihull in 2005, this TD5 90 has been rebuilt meticulously from the ground up, with nothing left untouched.
Having only covered just 27500 miles, the original 5-cylinder TD5 engine provides the most wonderful and unmistakable soundtrack.
As the perfect beach vehicle, this one-of-a-kind was used in promotional material for Twisted Marine.
What Twisted Marine vessels will I see at Goodwood Revival?
Goodwood Revival is the debut appearance of the T600R. The T600R is a 32-foot high-performance RIB with 600HP, independent suspension seats and bespoke Twisted rigging. The vessel has an onboard head space and large bow and stern sunbathing pads. The T600R is the ultimate in luxury and performance and is equally at home crossing the channel in rough waters as it is with cocktails on the fold-out table under the sun canopy. The T600R at Goodwood is already sold, but orders are being taken for 2024 delivery.
The T30R is a RIB tender measuring 3.5m in length. This bespoke Twisted RIB can be launched and recovered single-handedly with ease. Her 30hp Suzuki outboard engine has both electric and pull start and there is also electric trim.
This RIB has a 9″ GPS Chart-plotter / Fish-finder and navigation lights. The floor is finished in a Twisted-designed technical decking and the Orca Hypalon tubes feature the Twisted Defined stripes. The bespoke Silvertex upholstery has a carbon finish with grey square-stitch embroidery and piping. She sits on a custom SBS road trailer with BF Goodrich All-Terrain tyres.
The Twisted T300S is an elevated and highly refined version of the standard Axopar 25 Cabin. It has undergone hundreds of hours of redevelopment by the Twisted marine team to deliver an unrivalled craft. The one on display is painted in the classic Landrover Bahama Gold and it can be offered in a range of custom Land Rover-inspired paint schemes. The twin-stepped performance hull is equipped with fully adjustable suspension seats and the engine is mounted on billet jack plates to really dial in the performance of the 300HP V8 engine. The T300S also boasts a flappy paddle steering wheel to control the trim while on the fly.
