Twisted’s founder and managing director, Charles Fawcett, has been named on the prestigious 42 under 42 list, compiled by the Yorkshire Business Insider.
The list profiles the region’s top business leaders and entrepreneurs under 42 years of age, and places Charles alongside entrepreneurs from a diverse range of industries.
He has been named in the second batch of names, which are published in the March edition of Yorkshire Business Insider magazine.
Twisted’s commitment to utilising and exporting local craftsmanship and efforts to further grow the footprint of Brand Yorkshire made Charles a perfect candidate for the list.
He said: “London would have been the obvious place to set up a company selling an aspirational product – and if we sat on Savile Row this business would be ten times the size.
“But the fact is, I love Yorkshire. I am proud to have been able to assemble a great team and built a fantastic Yorkshire company with a world wide customer base, from scratch in Thirsk, a small market town in the North of the county, having taking plenty of risks along the way and bucked many trends, it is humbling to see those achievements recognised through the Insider’s 42 under 42 list.”
