Our annual Open Day is your chance to come behind the scenes on a factory tour, test drive our latest builds, meet up with friends at our Thirsk showroom, and experience what Twisted is all about.

What to expect at our Open Day 2023
Our Thirsk HQ is more than just a showroom. It’s a lovely historic cinema dating from 1914 that we renovated a couple of years ago, creating an inclusive and relaxed environment for Land Rover Defender enthusiasts to share and enjoy.
Everything will be open for you to browse at your leisure on July 30th. As for food and drink, we’ll lay on hearty fare to keep everyone sustained and help you make a day of it for the whole family. Our range of cakes, ice cream and delicious Yorkshire produce will be available from The Box Office café, with hot food available throughout the day. We offer allergy-friendly options, and caffeine addicts will find invigorating brews courtesy of Coffee Brothers. No question – this will be the best-smelling Land Rover event of the year!
You’ll also be able to search the Twisted parts shop for our exclusive merchandise, Land Rover parts and high-end accessories. Then trundle over to the Anti-Roll Bar when you need a sociable place to unwind.
If you’re able to donate to a worthy local cause, pop to the Herriot Hospice stand where you can support their fundraising for a new inpatient hospice facility in Thirsk.
Of course, it wouldn’t be a showroom without housing our latest range of Land Rover Defender. Come and explore our iconic builds and drivetrain options: 2.2-litre turbocharged diesel, 2.3-litre turbocharged petrol and 6.2-litre V8. Twisted technicians will be on-hand to answer all your questions, so if you want to learn more about the infinite details that make a Twisted special, this is your chance to speak to the team that creates them.
We’ve been working on something a bit different, too. At our Open Day we’ll showcase the new Jimny by Twisted, a new project currently under development. Defender are in our blood, but this project has all the ingredients and values that our success is built upon, so we think you’ll love our Suzuki Jimny as much as we do.
To see exactly where all these vehicles are created, make sure you reserve your place on a guided tour of the Twisted factory – just up the road from The Old Cinema. We’ll also be delighted to offer demo drives so you can experience our vehicles for yourself.

Entry is completely free and there’s no need to book tickets in advance – just turn up on the day.
