The Twisted exhaust kit was first launched in 2002 after an extensive amount of research to ensure the optimum design was achieved.
Made from grade 304 stainless steel with a 1.5mm wall, each of the pipes have flange fixtures, giving a higher quality of fitting that will last and the joints are TIG welded by hand, giving a neat high quality finish with the final joint as a sleeve to link to the 3” high polished stainless steel tail pipe, finished with a rolled end to give a classy finish.
To create a smooth and even pipe, each bend and contour uses mandril bending to maintain the same diameter, optimising the space for the gas to flow through.
The exhaust is available with both a single or a double silencer, depending on your preference. For both versions the first silencer is mounted at the front of the exhaust, placing the silencer here gives a much sweeter note as the gas expands earlier creating a more solid exit sound. Rather than the standard box shape, the Twisted silencer is conical, the advantage of this is mainly for off road use, as it hangs low the silencer can often be knocked, the conical shape helps deflect knocks and can reduce the chance of damage or even worse falling off!
